EntscheidPrivacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026 · Applies to the Entscheid.io mobile app (io.entscheid.app) and this website.
The short version: Entscheid.io has no accounts and no servers. Everything you type into the app is stored on your device only. We receive none of it, we sell none of it, and there is no analytics or advertising SDK in the app. The single exception is entirely opt-in: if you switch on the AI assistant with your own API key, your messages go from your device straight to the AI provider you picked — see section 4.1.
1. Who we are
Entscheid.io ("the app", "we", "us") is developed and published by FollowTheRabbitsInc. You can reach us at any time at contact@entscheid.io.
2. What data the app stores
Everything you create in the app — your decisions, options, criteria, observations, timings, scheduled tasks and notes — is written to the local storage of your device. It never leaves the device unless you deliberately use one of the optional features described in section 4.

3. What we do not do
- We do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address.
- We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, crash telemetry or advertising identifiers.
- We do not show ads and there are no third-party advertising SDKs in the app.
- We do not sell or rent your data, and we share it with no one. The only transfer that ever happens is the one you trigger yourself by enabling the AI assistant (section 4.1), and it goes from your device directly to the provider you chose — never through us.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
4. Optional features that involve third parties
4.1 The AI assistant (bring your own key)
The app includes an optional chat assistant that can set up and fill in decision tools for you. It is switched off until you enter an API key for an AI provider of your choice (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint). If you enable it:
- Your messages, and the content of the decision you have open, are sent directly from your device to the provider you chose. They do not pass through any server of ours — we do not operate one.
- Your API key is stored in your device's secure keychain and is used only to authenticate those requests. It is never sent to us.
- That provider's own privacy policy and terms govern what they do with the request. Please read them before enabling the feature.
- If the assistant performs a web search on your behalf, the search query is sent to the search provider used by your AI provider.
If you never enter an API key, no data ever leaves your device.
4.2 Microphone and speech recognition
You can dictate messages to the assistant by holding the microphone button. Audio is processed by your device's built-in speech recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS) and converted to text. We do not record, store or transmit audio ourselves. The permission is requested only when you first use the feature, and the app works fully without it.
4.3 In-app documentation and links
The app can open our documentation and blog (docs.entscheid.io,
blog.entscheid.io) in an in-app browser. Those sites are static and set no tracking
cookies. Standard web server logs may record your IP address for security and abuse prevention;
our hosting provider (Vercel) processes those logs on our behalf.
5. Children
Entscheid.io is a general-audience productivity app. It is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, children included.
6. Your rights and how to delete your data
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export or erase on your behalf. You remain in full control of the data on your device:
- Delete an individual decision by swiping it away in the app.
- Remove your AI API key at any time in the assistant settings.
- Erase everything at once by uninstalling the app, or via Android Settings → Apps → Entscheid.io → Storage → Clear data. This is immediate and permanent.
If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection apply to any personal data a controller holds about you — in our case that set is empty. You may still contact us with any question or complaint.
7. Security
Your data is protected by the sandboxing and encryption your operating system applies to app storage. Since nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side breach that could expose it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
